Myanmar, the largest country in mainland Southeast Asia, has long been cloaked in mystery.

A land of stunning landscapes and rich religious culture, Myanmar is home to 135 ethnic groups.

Among them, the Chinese population exceeds 1.6 million, who continue to uphold the spirit of preserving Chinese education.

Mandarin-Education Volunteer Organization in Myanmar (M.E.V.O.M.) is committed to improving the quality of education in Myanmar’s Chinese schools. We believe that education is the gentlest yet most transformative force for change.

Overseas Volunteer Program

The love you bring is sincere and indispensable hope.

One person can walk fast, but a group can walk far. Every short-term volunteer brings heartfelt service, infusing the community with new vitality.
We invite you to join us on this journey to illuminate hope through education.

Sponsorship and Support Program 2.0: Partnering with Schools

Join us to nurture their growth with love.

In northern Myanmar, many children cannot attend school due to financial difficulties.
We hope to help these children complete at least their basic education, giving them the opportunity to change their future.
Partnering with local Chinese schools, we assist with administrative operations and teaching systems, ensuring a smoother learning journey for children.

Education in Remote Villages – Nanmiao

Rural Self-Managed Schools Initiative

In Myanmar, many remote villages lack schools.
Villagers hope their children can learn Chinese, and their voices have reached us.
In September 2019, with combined efforts, we established a school in Nanmiao Village. We invite you to learn more about this initiative!

Collaboration with Organizations

Starting from education, we aim to connect dots into lines and planes.

With education at the core, we see many different needs in local communities.
Beyond improving children’s lives, education requires diverse expertise to respond to various challenges.
We sincerely welcome partnerships with professional organizations to create a greater impact. Together, we can turn individual “dots” into connected “lines and planes.”
